Sensata Technologies, Inc. Key Account Manager, Industrial Solutions, US South and Mexico in United States
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OEM Key Account Manager to home office in the Texas/Midwest area.
In this role you will focus on managing and growing existing Sensata Industrial Key Accounts.
Accounts are heavily focused in the areas of HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration. Major accounts will include Trane Technologies, Rheem, HTPG, ParkerSporlan, Daikin Comfort, Daikin Applied, Lennox, Heatcraft, Ingersoll Rand/Gardner Denver.

General Responsibilities
Sells the organization’s products or services to, and maintains relationships with, typically one to three existing key country accounts.
Manages sales activities for assigned named country accounts, rather than an assigned territory.
Primary point-of-contact sales manager for account regardless of account’s geographic location.
Handles expansion and development on a global or international account and providing customer service
Manages relationship with global channel partners.
Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development.
Responsible for the master strategy for strategic accounts and ensures the strategy is executed.
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Minimum 3 years of Sales experience, preferred OEM Direct sales
Experience with HVAC and Industrial markets
Understanding of Sales Process (Miller Heiman, SPIN, Karass Negotiations, etc)
Demonstrated ability to hunt, probe and close new and existing business
Develop strategies for maintaining, growing and closing business from concept to implementation
Establish strong relationship with customers at all levels of the organization. Understand the customers business strategy and Sensata's opportunity to participate
Establish an excellent understanding of customer applications and how Sensata product applies to their business
Negotiate pricing and technical specifications
Communicate business and technical information between customer and Sensata
Understand Sensata's competition strengths and weaknesses
Identify new opportunities for which Sensata may participate…new markets!
Ability to build relationships with internal Sensata teams (Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, Production, etc) that help with all accounts.
