Work foremost with customers in the Automotive Aftermarket EMEA Region. Create long term relations with customers and key stakeholders at different levels in the assigned area. Negotiate contracts and prices with customers in line with the Commercial strategy. Develop sales and marketing concepts for customers (Account plans, Marketing plans, Sales activities, etc.). Monitor defined KPI’s (sales effort, price management, etc.) and monthly forecast for your customers, yearly budget planning (good Excel skills). Ensure knowledge of the market in order to hold and grow the targeted market shares in all assigned product categories. Focus on annual plan and new business opportunity closures.


General Responsibilities

  • Pursue existing and future business opportunities with an emphasis on Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS and any other technology fields that the company may move into)

  • Lead in visits to existing and new customers

  • Participate in meetings and presentations as required in support of customer programs and department business planning. Presentation material may need to be developed by candidate

  • Provide customer feedback to management, product development, customer service, marketing and operations. Using the Voice Of Customer (VOC) to help improve our current product offering and programs.

  • Utilize total program management and strategic planning processes to achieve the regions net revenue goals.

  • Manage customer activities with regards to commercial account activities

  • Manager and develop marketing and suggest pricing policy for the different distribution levels of the market

  • Report regularly on business activity and potential opportunities/innovations.

  • Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

  • Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets

  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and territory budgeting

  • Innovate / create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers

  • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.

  • Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree) or a higher level degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Doctorate degree)

  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Minimum 5 years Sales experience in Automotive Aftermarket is a must with high Sales performance

  • Existing network in German/European WD is a must

  • Willingness to travel - can be up to 80% depending on demands

  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation (English is a must, German native)

  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
