Sensata Technologies, Inc. Marketing Coordinator in Troy, United States
This position is an entry-level role with opportunity for growth in a dynamic industry. The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral member of the global marketing team and will mainly assist the North American Marketing Manager. The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to develop new marketing and effective communication skills, through website management, tradeshow and event coordination, social media management, content distribution and digital marketing.
Participate in the development and execution of promotional campaigns and marketing materials for the designated product or program
Participate in effective market research in order to utilize effective communication distribution channels, and focus on a target market
Promote Sensata products and services during events
Coordinate the design of promotional material and distributing in online and offline channels
Advertise Sensata's products/services on various media channels
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Work with North American Marketing Manager on the execution of the following tasks:
Communication campaigns and lead generation
Website maintenance and content updates
Social media management
Trade show/event management
Writing and editing content for all products and sales channels
Copywriting, including adapting English marketing materials into German
Administrative support and vendor management invoicing, payments
Provide cross-functional coordination of marketing communication deliverables for Aftermarket specific projects and/or corporate initiatives
Manage marketing and promotional material inventory, ordering and delivery for team members and customers
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
Experience in Microsoft office pack and willingness to learn new software (like Adobe suite, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
General administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Has good judgement and knows when to seek help, ask a question or obtain clarification of instructions, seeks and embraces feedback
An exceptional eye for detail
Experience in graphic design or working with Adobe suite programs
Experience in Drupal website management systems
Experience in copywriting
