Sensata Technologies, Inc. Quality System Coordinator in Tijuana, Mexico

The Quality System Coordinator will coordinate the activities of the QMS in Sensata Otay facilities. this position will participate in the efforts of the company to obtain and maintain the certification in the IATF 16949 standard, ISO 9001 and AS9100 by coordinating, and training the different levels and functions in the organization , it should requires activities in the standard, regulatory, corporate and the specific customer requirements .

Principal Activities:

  • Understand the regulations and specific procedures of the company that are required for the assembly and production of different products / applications.

  • Coordinate training or coaching on the requirements related to the QMS, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and AS standards where applicable.

  • Coordinate and lead the Internal Quality System Audit Process

  • Coordinate and lead the External (Agencies) Quality System Audit Process.

  • Facilitate and support the creation of Procedures, Work instructions and Process Maps. or any related QMS documentation.

  • Participate in the Management review meetings at the different layers within the organization as necessary. (Site mgmt review, IBT board, Cube/SIMs, etc)

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Document and Data Control Function

  • Understand and deploy any regulatory requirement that impact QMS including Customer Specific Req.

  • Understand and implement policies and procedures of the Quality Management Systems such as IATF 16949, ISO9001 last rev and support the Environmental Management System ISO 14001, Health Management System and Occupational Health and Safety -OHSAS 18001 and any other system or regulatory requirement that the company might require for its operation.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position

  • Advance Knowledge in ISO: 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100

  • College degree or equivalent in Engineering related field.

  • Bilingual

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office

  • Core Tools knowledge
