Sensata Technologies, Inc. QA Supervisor in Tijuana, Mexico
Lead complex assignments to develop, apply and keep quality requirements for processing components and other material into finished good and products. Drive the design and implementation methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and equipment. Coordinate supporting manufacturing documentation to ensure and contains the necessary criteria and provisions to permit effective materials inspection and testing, focus on the scrap review to keep on target.
Track adverse quality trends and implement group- oriented action items to resolve issues.
Direct interface/interaction with CQE’s on customer quality issues.
Authorized to stop production to correct quality problems.
Support the management representative as per the quality system requirements.
Support ongoing development of policies and procedures for the quality system.
Set up, maintain and track quality performance from part level to company level and communication of the metrics to management for continual improvement.
Work with all facets of company during set up, production and shipping to assure customer requirements are met.
Facilitate team meetings relative to continuous improvement undertakings.
Support the orchestration of the internal audits to assure that quality management systems compliance is evident.
Participate in external quality management systems audits and subsequent surveillance audits.
Participate on all corrective/preventative actions (as applicable).
Report to management on the ongoing effectiveness of the quality system.
Monitor production’s quality output, capabilities, and direct revisions to processes, as needed.
Comply with all applicable quality system procedures.
Coordinate the assignment of work and follow-up to ensure project completion.
Owner of PPAP runs and paper work generation.
Understand and implement policies and procedures of quality systems (ISO 9001), environmental management system (ISO 14001), health management system and occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001) and any other system that the company may require for its operation.
