The Business Analyst is responsible for customer return data analysis and coordinating activities related to quality, failure analysis and product management.

General Responsibilities

  • Arranges the analysis, articulation and presentation of complex data, in order to allow effective and timely management decisions

  • Provides consistent data storage, access and update for all users

  • Communicates with various functions, project families and regions on trends and measurable results

  • Proactively plan for trends and implements training to mitigate repeat events

  • Collaborates with teams to create strategy based in actionable data which aligns with long term vision of a zero-incidence culture

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)

  • Business ethics - Ability to practice and behave consistently and effectively in areas of business practice and conflicts of interest

  • Communication - Ability to communicate effectively by getting the right message across to the right people at the right time on a regular basis

  • Customer Orientation - Ability to meet customers’ expectations by identifying and anticipating customers’ needs and integrating these into work; ability to develop new added value for customers and act with the customer in mind

  • Result orientation - Ability to take steps personally to ensure that mutual goals and performance targets are met within the appropriate timeframe

  • Planning and Organizing - Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work and schedules in all areas to meet requirements

  • Problem solving - Ability to reach logical conclusions to situations by appropriately analyzing the situation. Balances the benefits, risks and consequences of actions

  • Time Management - Ability to assessing your ability to manage your time, and the effectiveness of your team to reach department objectives

  • Conflict management - Ability to recognize and work towards a mutually agreeable solution when confronted with conflict

  • Resilience - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize

  • Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, release management, troubleshooting, capacity & storage, and general systems maintenance

  • Serve as primary point of contact for business around production and support issues

  • Research and identify needs, goals, and business models by collaborating with end users, stakeholders, and support partners

  • Test functionality of new implementations in Salesforce prior to releasing to business

  • Review and assess current state to identify and recommend improvement opportunities

  • Support the Salesforce developer to help design and maintain internal solutions and external system interface mechanisms

  • Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, page layouts workflows and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, formulas, standard and custom fields

  • Challenge requests that do not align with Salesforce best practices and find alternative solutions

  • Stay Current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionalities and solutions as needed; including integrations with third party solutions

  • Establish and implement best practices: system maintenance, security, improvements, data integrity, duplicates, backups, validation rules, custom workflows, and so on

  • Design and create global Reports and Dashboards within SF in accordance with corporate goals

  • Define, deliver and support functionality and configuration of the Salesforce.com platform

  • Elicit, capture, and transform business requirements into functional system requirements

  • Track user adoption and provide additional training where necessary

  • Participate in design reviews and collaborative system integration planning activities
