Are you eager to take-up a leading role within the commercial organization of one of the world's leading sensor and safety suppliers? Then Sensata Technologies may be looking for you. We are looking for a colleague who can combine her/his commercial experience with technical knowledge to strengthen and expand Sensata’s position in the European Industrial market.

We support Sensata’s Industrial Partner segment customers to develop solutions to use resources in a safer and efficient way. Your role is to develop business and partner with strategic new and existing local business distributors (Partners) located across Europe. You will be consulting our products & technologies to these partners with the aim to provide protection-, sensing- and safety solutions. Some examples of Sensata’s Industrial key focus areas are (smart) home appliances, transportation solutions, white goods solutions and/or military and defense solutions.

You will be part of the European Industrial commercial organization and report to the Partner Management Leader. In this key role within the Commercial team in Europe, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts across Europe and drive new business development to achieve growth, profitability, and market share objectives.

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.

• Pursue sales leads

• Lead in visits to existing and new customers

• Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

• Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets

• Innovates and creates sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers

• Perform supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations

• Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.

• Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
