Sensata Technologies, Inc. Supplier Quality Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the overall Supplier Quality of purchased production parts.
During the serial life of a product, the supplier Quality Engineer ensures that suppliers constantly provide excellent Quality and Service, respecting SENSATA and Customer Standards, at any time (ppm, claims, etc.).
Job Responsibilities :
Improvement of supplier performance based on the current supplier evaluation in cooperation with Global Procurement (Supplier score cards);
Implementation of supplier audits and visits as well as process approvals, taking actions and controlling;
Enabling suppliers and their processes to produce required parts in the right quality, at the right cost and delivery time;
Preparation of supplier reports/evaluations;
Interface and contact person between QM, production, and procurement for the supplier
Introduction of worldwide supplier quality processes, tools, workshops, trainings, audits, etc.;
Personal skills & knowledge:
Excellent in verbal and written communication. Clearly conveying and receiving messages to meet the needs of all, incl. supplier interfacing. Fluent in English;
Great technical knowledge (example: Electronics, Machining, Injection Moulding, etc.), also in Manufacturing, Maintenance and Logistic;
Able to collect and analyze data. Familiar with SPC is an advantage;
Result oriented. Positive thinking behavior, team player;
Willing to work with people in an international environment.
Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience in manufacturing (process / project / quality area) is an advantage;
Technical expertise and understanding;
Good skills in the application of MICROSOFT standard software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,..);
Valid car driving license;
Flexibility and ability to travel abroad (Europe);
Knowledge of various Quality system methodologies is an advantage.
