To analyze company’s needs, gather users’ requirements and translate them to technical requirements, monitor electronic transactions and alert when a problem arises, maintain documentation, communicate with clients, vendors and suppliers.
Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring that requirements are gathered and ultimate solution is deployed as required. Coordinate the completion of tasks with team members.
Together with Global Manufacturing & Procurement business managers, define and analyze EDI system needs and requirements, and communicate those needs using the proper tools to the IT organization.
Act as Global Liaison between supply chain (including procurement, planning, manufacturing, and logistics) business teams, IT teams, and 3rd Party vendor, with the ability to present technical information to a non-technical audience, and an ability to understand and interpret business requirements.
Take needed problem solving actions based on business requirements and priorities.
Develop and deliver system specifications and user-training documents.
Manage tracks of global full life cycle Oracle implementations.
Provide technical expertise for mergers and acquisitions that the company may undertake.
Anticipate and identify issues and develop recommendations and courses of action which are consistent with business objectives and functional requirements.
Manage current engagements with customers and suppliers
Research and resolve all EDI setups, data feed and communication problems.
Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree preferred in Engineering
Good written and oral communication skills
Fluent in English
Ability to prioritize work
A responsible attitude
Remaining calm under pressure
Detail oriented individual with the ability to coordinate numerous activities
Strong analytical skills and the desire to be part of a problem-solving team
Must have the ability to successfully interface with all levels of management
Knowledge of financial systems, ERP
Experience with UNIX
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good technical / analytical skills
Distributed systems and multi-tier architectures
