The Documentation Control Specialist coordinates the activities necessary to maintain the control of design documentation numbering, description, and revision for the products of the company, ensuring all information is correct, truthful and in compliance with the requirements of the applicable quality management systems and standard business processes (ECO, NPD).

General Responsibilities

• Works with engineers, the marketing team, field sales associates, and other personnel to create all the necessary documents to support production lines and make sites

• Assist with accurate drawing content and documents to efficiently convey design intent throughout the product structure

• Issue all documents and corrections to historical documents. Agile, excel, and other software tools will be used extensively

• Store, manage and track all company documents

• Responsible for scanning, uploading and following the company's document lifestyle procedures

• Arranges the processing of requests for specific documents from internal employees, customers or other personnel.

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

General Responsibilities

• Maintain the drawings numbering database (reserve numbers) and participate in working groups for determining new numbering conventions for new and acquired products.

• Understand drawing and product relationships, utilizing in-depth product structure and production steps knowledge, in order to manage proper numbering for design configurations, dual sourcing, material variations and other specifics of the assemblies/components.

• Offers input to the design engineers and BOM (Bill of materials) team regarding the numbering and the ECO (Engineering change order) process in general.

• Validate correctness of ECO according to the company standards and support the change process in Agile throughout all ECO phases and in accordance with the NPD (New Product Development) stages.

• Maintain communication with design engineers, test engineers, CAD engineers, BOM specialists, marketing and logistics specialists and internal divisions of the company.

• Report to the regional Drafting Manager.

Experience / Qualifications :

• Intermediate knowledge in English (written and spoken).
