The Finance Process Lead drives process improvements in the finance field in order to achieve better performance. Analyze the monthly performance data and takes decisions to achieve the targets set. Act as a SME in the Finance area.
Align and drive global and regional initiatives on Finance performance enhancements, modifications and continual service improvements; Championing change, responsible for ongoing continuous improvement to all relevant business processes and aligning technologies
Assists in improving operational business processes in order to achieve desired level of efficiency and effectiveness
Serves as a first point of contact in any system or process issues identified by the AP/AR team members and managers
Provide instructions and on the job support to the Shared Service team. Provide timely feedback and know how to address performance issues in the finance area
Support implementation and alignment to global processes in order to increase standardization and limit complexity
Prepare performance and compliance reports and communicate performance status to the management on a weekly and periodic basis
Plan, prepare and develop work schedules according to workloads and budget
Monitor, measure and evaluate the quality, compliance and performance, take timely corrective/preventive actions
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
