Sensata Technologies, Inc. Software Engineer Battery Management Systems in Smorum, Denmark
Lithium Balance develops Li-ion battery management systems (BMS) to control and monitor the increasingly powerful and complex batteries of the future green energy sector. We are growing rapidly and are always looking for talented employees to develop and produce new generations of battery management systems for batteries in cars, trains, motorcycles and solar panel/energy storage systems.

You will be part of a dedicated software team, who work closely together with our hardware and test team to ensure that the development of BMS software is thought into the design from the start.
The software Engineer is responsible for implementing the BMS software/firmware to meet specifications through analysis, design, coding, test & validation.
Additionally, you will help maintain existing code base and investigate, debug and fix problems found in the field in collaboration with our application support team engineers.
Experience/Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or similar is required
Strong SW development skills must be proficient in low level C/C+ Understand the value of SW test and know how to make testable code
Experience with embedded RTOS (preferably FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS) will be an advantage
Advantage to have worked with and have good understanding of HW
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Experience with Agile development (Scrum/Kanban) is an advantage
Good natural organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong sense of accountability to achieve goals and standards
Good interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Proficiency in English both verbal and written is a need.
