The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing strategies and working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing to drive brand awareness and increase sales. This individual is responsible for developing and executing promotional and marketing campaigns across a variety of media types and outlets. Additionally the role will be responsible for analyzing marketing and industry research to drive new marketing efforts and strategy.
Oversees marketing strategy including creating and implementing strategies and plans for products and programs
Collaborate with partners to imagine, develop and execute high-impact campaigns that inspire consumers and drive sell-through, activation and customer engagement including campaign goals, customer value prop/messaging, channels, promotional mix, and campaign measurement
Use data and insights to develop a deep understanding of the drivers of customer purchase behavior and translate those insights into innovative customer campaigns and promotions
Develop rigorous testing programs to analyze campaign effectiveness across multiple dimensions (e.g. audience segment, channel, etc.) and continually testing, analyzing and optimizing tactics to maximize ROI
Manage engagement with external agencies including drafting campaign briefs, overseeing creative development, and all other aspects of the process including cost negotiations, schedule management, approvals, research and analysis
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 6+ years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree) or a higher level degree and 2-4years of experience (i.e. Doctorate degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Develop and execute business growth strategy for specific market segment and products
Establish and maintain pricing strategy
Lead market research activities, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs and trends
Define new product portfolio and long-term roadmap
Driver new business win in customer side
