The focus of the role is to effectively perform and manage external and internal audit programme across Sensata in Line with our development, manufacturing, and supplier sites Quality Strategy to ensure our continuous compliance with customer and industry specific certification requirements.
Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
Conducts the planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution
Handles design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
Conducts analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
Develops methods for testing, sampling and training
May act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects
Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree) or a higher level degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Doctorate degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Collaboration with Central IT to ensure cohesive approach to our TISAX certification strategy is maintained
Liaise with external assessment parties and/or customer auditors, where required to ensure effective TISAX audit and compliance process
Takes accountability and acts as a single point of contact for the operation and application of an effective TISAX Audit Programme in accordance with published standards and frameworks across Sensata.
Ensures liaison and provision of audit support with Central IT on any issues relating to TISAX
Understand the strategy of the QA Systems, development Teams and their major projects to ensure an effective audit programme
Understand Sensata Systems and Risks to provide support through the audit program to ensure that risks have been mitigated appropriately (effective controls)
Continually improving our management systems to ensure ongoing conformance
Takes accountability for the TISAX certification program across Sensata
Establishes productive relationships at Senior management levels within business to build and maintain customer relationships Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of ISO auditing experience
TISAX certified auditor (accredited by VDA or equivalent) or relevant experience.
Lead Auditor Ability to Lead Audits and working with any of the relevant management systems or other industry standards e.g ISO27001, ISO20000, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001/ISO45001, PCI-DSS, TISAX, HDS
Hold one or more - CISMP (BCS Certification in Security Management Principals) CISA (ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor) Certificate in ISO20000 Practitioner / Consultant
Proven experience of leading audits across geographies
Understanding of ITIL framework
Working knowledge of legislative & regulatory requirements including GDPR
Can interpret and apply the requirements of the relevant management system(s) to the business in relation to their operational processes and procedures
Plan and organise own workload
Good administrative experience, attention to detail, ensures accuracy of data, provides data for reporting and processing of information
Ability to build relationships at all levels within the business and influence senior management on the compliance of the management system requirements
Ability to perform very well even under high pressure in a structured manner and to strict deadline
Ability to influence with integrity & negotiate sympathetically
Ability to work as part of a team
Solution-oriented thinking and acting, high assertiveness
