The Embedded Software Engineer will be an integral part of our development team in NYC that is working on innovative technologies and products from our Sendyne product line.
A great candidate will possess:
5 years of experience and BS in EE, CS or related field.
Expertise in C and modern C++ (C++11 and later) and SW development best practices (unit testing, coverage analysis, CI).
Good knowledge of ARM Cortex-M architectures and toolchains.
Ability to develop, maintain, debug and document a code base based on requirements.
Experience with Python and Docker is welcome.
Basic knowledge of numerical methods and DSP techniques a plus.
ASPICE, ISO-26262 and automotive experience a plus.

General Responsibilities
Conducts analyses for designs, programs, debugs and modified software
Handles the troubleshooting of codes for firmware applications
Handles analog and digital hardware and software operating systems
Position requires knowledge and exposure to hardware design
Conducts the programming of machine language, assembly language and high level languages
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
