Sensata Technologies, Inc. Supply Risk Analyst / Supplier Constraint Analyst in Changzhou, China
The global Supply risk and constraints management team is a new functional area within the Global Supply Chain Org, with responsibility to secure continuous supply of global long lead-time material in order to best support our production sites and Sensata customers. The team will work as Central coordination, being internal point of contact for Control towers, Supply & Inventory Managers, Customer Service, local material planning teams and Procurement, and external for suppliers regarding supply & delivery issues.
In addition, the team will also be responsible to identify, highlight and solve delivery constraints, define and track countermeasures, manage end-to-end demand signal to suppliers for materials within scope, conduct proactive planning for supply risk mitigation, lead global supply allocation and decision making if needed.
This role requires a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication and leadership skills. They can quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and are able to promptly resolve issues. This is a new and highly visible position with global interaction with all levels of the supply chain, product family teams and global production facilities.

Escalate Supply risks and ensure streamlined and consolidated report-out to Management
Multi-plant bare demand consolidation, coordination and final allocation
Standardized Critical supplier reporting / supplier constraints tracking list for Leadership team
Act as fast response task force (e.g., for fast-track PO), involve with Sourcing/SQE on Supplier workshop, Capacity roadmaps
Perform in-depth analysis of large amount of data to support and drive decision making
Lead regular supply review meetings with key suppliers
Lead improvement projects (raw material SS strategy, supplier segmentation, PFEP etc.) based on identified improvement opportunities
Supplier Monitoring (plan vs actuals shipment), available stock & VMI, coverage vs production plan / customer bare demand
Consolidate and publish supplier FCST on mid-and long-term demands in a regular basis
Control SS, PO horizon and other parameter settings, close collaboration with suppliers and their planning and SS strategies in collaboration with make site material managers
Create and define structured escalation routine, be point of escalation (internal)
Generate processes, standards and establish common tools and reports
Support Raw material change management (PI/PO), mitigate E&O risks, manage and control stockpiles LTB / Strategic raw material inventory
Work to support Supply Chain resilience (disaster recovery, Force majeure, weather, strike, pandemic impacts)
* Job Requirements (Minimum: Required Skills and Competencies, Education Level / Major Required, Years of Experience, Certifications / Licenses, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred
3+ years related supply chain planning/material planning/technical procurement experience, long lead time material such as electronics (ASICs, wafer, EMAs, PCBs) planning experience is preferred
People to work on this role require strong ownership and proactive planning sense, great communication (assertiveness) and report-out skills and must work cross-functionally and globally
Strongly familiar with planning parameter setting and production scheduling (MPS & MRP)
Ideally some knowledge of production processes at suppliers, especially in electronic parts
Experience working with Oracle EBS (data), good understanding of ORACLE MRP
Experience with global projects and international/intercultural communication is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g. 8D, A3, 6-sigma)
Fluent English at both oral and written
CSCP/CPIM certification is a plus

Be able to work under pressure in a fast pace environment and adapt to work across different time zones
Occasional travel up to 10% may be required to other Sensata sites or Suppliers
Excellent skills in Excel (data analytics, pivots, macros, dashboards)
Experience using BI tool is a plus, (OBIEE, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
