Sensata Technologies, Inc. Supplier Quality Engineer in Changzhou, China
Lead and qualify new component for NPD project, make sure supplier full meet project milestone and resolve related quality issues during new project development phase.
Lead new components qualification plan and implementation according to Sensata new project development process and AIAG manual.
DFM/TLP review with designer and supplier, make sure supplier well understand requirement defined on drawing and requirements of laws and regulations;
Send request of initial samples to supplier and defined PPAP submitting level;
Measurement correlation study with Sensata and supplier to eliminate measurement gaps samples;
Gate review with supplier according APQP requirement and make sure all issues closed before forward to next phase;
Prompt reaction on daily component related quality issues, take quick containment actions, and provide commodity knowledge for MRB disposition and quality risks assessment. Notify suppliers quality issues
Drive supplier 8D report, verify and assure suppliers’ effective containment action, root cause analysis, and corrective actions/preventive actions.
Perform on-site audit at supplier side during different project development phase, like as new supplier qualification audit, production Trial Run audit, exit safe launch audit, quality issue audit……;)
Periodic communicate with project team and suppliers on project schedule and quality performance, drive supplier full meet project milestone and resolve quality issue;
PPAP approval review with supplier;
Bachelor degree or above,
At least 2 years working experience on automotive industry, and at least 4 years working experience.
Familiar with AIAG manual: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP and SPC.
Familiar with new project development process
Familiar with 8D, Fishbone, 5 why, etc.
Certified TS 16949 & VDA 6.3 auditor is preferred.
Program manager experience is preferred.
Familiar with molding process and product
6 Sigma Green Belt or above is preferred.
Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.
Familiar with office software and Minitab;
