The Sourcing Project Management Office (PMO) within the Global Procurement is seeking a Sourcing Project Manager to work with local and regional Global Operations and Business teams in managing New Product Development (NPD) and Change Management (CM) programs in support of revenue, productivity, design and quality improvements.
The Sourcing Project Manager will manage all aspects of NPD and CM program lifecycle and utilize the necessary training, processes and procedures, toolsets, and communication plan to effectively execute across the organization. The successful candidate will act as the focal point for Supply Chain Change Management activities on assigned programs, and will be required to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and affect short-term and long-term business goals. He/She will be accountable for timely execution of projects and will work within a cross-functional team. Interaction with Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), Project Management Team (PMT), Engineering, Planning, Operations and peers within the Sourcing and Procurement community will be paramount. Working across time zones and physical locations will enable the candidate to gain vast experience in a global network and will challenge the individual to maintain exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities
Track and update changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
Report and escalate to management as needed
Assists in performing risk management to minimize project risks
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Execution of Supply Chain NPD and CM programs (Growth, Design, Capacity, Supply).
Develops comprehensive project plans and manages the entire project lifecycle. Concept, Development, Pre-launch and Production phases. Plans, Directs, Change management, Scope management, Issue & Risk management and coordinates activities to complete assigned projects and ensure projects are completed within prescribed schedule and budget.
Actively maintains Project Plans with the tool of PWA (Project Web Application) to ensure all stakeholders are informed of program status, risks and issues and performance. Interacts with all stakeholders to maintain a high-level of effective communications and resolve problems and issues as they arise. And make sure related documents are stored in PWA timely.
Manages and coordinates resource needs as appropriate within Global Operations. Supplier Management, Quality, Production, Engineering etc. Assigning work and ensuring that tasks are completed on-time (Charter review, Component sourcing risk assessment, DFM, RFQ/Supplier selection, DV samples, PV samples, R@R, PPAP, etc.).
Track and measure performance at each phase of the NPD/CM process.
Prepares status reports. Align with all applicable functional and quality policies and procedures.
Execution of the NPD/CM process is a direct deliverable as are maintaining communication of progress and knowing and having “ethical courage” to escalate and ensure projects are on-time and on-budget.
