Sensata Technologies, Inc. Software Design Team Leader in Changzhou, China

General Description

  • Based in Changzhou/ China, you will report to a manager in Shanghai At a high level, your duties will require you to lead a software engineer team and provide Software expertise and support to Sensata’s customers. There will also be elements of engineering development associated with the role.

Main duties will include:

  • Lead software design team to develop ECU embedded software for customer projects

  • Responsibility for creating software requirements from customer and hardware requirements documentation

  • Develop the required detail around the software requirements working alongside systems engineers as well as customers.

  • Develop the customer specific application software

  • Develop test cases for software unit testing and integration testing.

  • Support system verification

  • Apply expert knowledge to resolve complex technical situations effectively and quickly.

  • Assist with and take ownership of software process development.

  • Provide support to other teams such as production, product support and quality

  • The candidate will be responsible for developing customer specific application software for that embedded microprocessor.

  • Although part of the ECU software development team, work will extend to cover all ECU software activities as the need arises in any other team or department.

Candidates Qualification

  • You must possess a degree in computer science or electrical engineering & 5 years industrial experience in a software design role.

  • The candidate must has at least 3 years’ experience as engineer team leader

  • The candidate should be experienced with C language for embedded software development

  • The candidate should be familiar with AutoSAR and has at least 2 years AutoSAR implementation experience.

  • The candidate should be aware or have experience in all stages of the software lifecycle/processes and have good analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Candidate should have strong team sprite and good communication skill

  • Candidate should be good at English in both written and oral.

  • Knowledge of CAN protocols (ISO11898 and J1939), UDS protocol (ISO14229) is desirable.

  • Knowledge of digital and analogue electronic circuitry is desirable.

In addition, the ideal candidate should possess a Chinese driving license and have the ability to operate both a manual and automatic transmission vehicle.

Please note, this position may require some foreign travel.
