The Electrical Engineering Professional is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
Creates designs within inter-disciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges
Leads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
Develops testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch
Responsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations
Maintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned; produce design reports, test reports, operating manuals and test procedures
Leads a team that includes senior engineers/managers for the purpose of engaging with customers in soliciting product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree) or a higher level degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Doctorate degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Discuss with design engineer / project teams to know information about machine requirement.
Based on technical requirement, can provide good concept, key components selection, BOM, cost from electrical & software side. And define the machine specification.
Risk assessment before new design, such as Process-FMEA and Machine-FMEA.
Analyze failures occurred during test together with design engineer, to find the possible root cause and give suggestion to the design engineer in the previous stage when test process validation.
Compose comprehensive test reports including electrical and test description, test conditions, raw data & data analysis and result.
Machine electrical drawing design, electrical cabinet reasonable layout plan, electrical hardware selection and validation, machine electrical debug, and machine software design & debug, machine qualification and support to successfully launch machine at plant
Machine manual and related documents define and maintenance for electrical and software, and provide technical support for problem solving.
Can actively accomplish all other tasks the leader’s assigned.
Have passion / energy and have enough responsibility with hard-working to accomplish tasks.
Professional in software design as LabVIEW, C++/C#. LabVIEW is preferred and priority. If also with TestStand will be much better.
Familiar with Data Collection and related hardware, Signal Processing, Communication Port (RS232/485, GPIB, LAN, USB…), variants of sensors for application in machine.
Good knowledge for SQL, MySQL, Access application. SQL operation is preferred.
Familiar with E-PLAN, AutoCAD for electrical drawing design. E-PLAN is preferred.
PLC and HMI programming are plus, PLC such as Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, AB. And HMI as Proface.
Familiar with CC-Link, Profibus-DP, Profinet as the fieldbus. Also need to Familiar with servo motor and step motor application, even high accuracy encoder.
Tool and Knowledge
Have good knowledge for high pressure system is plus and preferred.
Strong understanding of function test for automotive electric/electronic component is a must.
Strong understanding of testing procedure and the important influence factors during the procedure is a must, work experience in a TS16949 certified testing organization is a plus, such as MSA, APQP.
Have good knowledge for Six Sigma, TRIP and Minitab application.
Knowledge / experience of Failure Mode analysis for electric/electronic components.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits, microelectronic assembly, statistical methods, process control fundamentals and product test processes.
Strong communication skills, written and verbally (English language skills preferred)
Knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Windows, Excel and Outlook).
Capable of setting priorities, being proactive and achieving results.
Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems strong problem solving skills.
Ability to meet customers’ (internal/external) demands on schedule and within budget.
Ability to clearly present testing concepts or related report to customers, managers and peers.
Ability to work with other cross-functional teams including component development, quality, marketing, purchasing, etc.
Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members
Ability to learn fast and work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.
