Sensata Technologies, Inc. Internal Auditor in Changzhou, China

The Regional Internal Auditor is responsible performing individual internal audit projects in accordance with the overall internal audit plan. These activities will be carried out under the direction and supervision of Regional Internal Audit Manager for Asia. Sensata Asia sites are located in China, Malaysia, India, Japan and Korea.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing financial, operational and compliance audits at make sites, shared service centers (SSC), distribution centers and regional offices.

  • Assist with planning and performing Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing and following up on status of remediation plans

  • Assist with risk assessments and developing the annual audit plan

  • Conduct and provide support for internal investigations as required

  • Identify added value opportunities to improve business effectiveness and efficiency

  • Contribute to process improvements within the internal audit department.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Ability to interact confidently with management and senior management

  • Knowledge of audit methods and techniques

  • High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with audit team members and internal customers

  • Fluent in English (verbally and written communication)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry operation processes such as inventory management, etc.

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley legislation and requirements (preferred)

  • Certification CPA or CIA or ACCA or local equivalent (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, word)

  • Oracle experience (desirable)

Education/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or those relevant subject

  • Must be available / willing to travel up to 30% in China and Asia

  • Minimum three years professional experience in external and /or internal audit (manufacturing industry experience)

  • Experience performing SOX audits

  • Experience in conducting investigation (desirable)
