Sensata Technologies, Inc. HR Admin Supervisor in Changzhou, China

As a lead of HR Administration team, the supervisor is overall responsible for day-to-day operation of HR Administration Services for Asia region and drive for continuous improvement; Work closely with HRBP, COE to provide excellent service to employees and managers; Work effectively to support local, regional and corporate initiatives and projects; Lead the team of HR administration specialists, responsible for the team’ s development and motivation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Day-to-day operation supervision to Asia HR Administration team.

  • Hiring. (including but not only: administration of Job Contracts, performing the pre-hire steps and ensuring profile creation in the systems, administration of on boarding, Orientation and probation review, administration of contractor management.)

  • Terminations. (including but not only: administration of exit management and severance management)

  • Employee changes. (including but not only: employee personal information change, employee organization change)

  • Reporting. (including but not only: regular HR/workforce/staff movement/headcount report)

  • Provide other duties as directed and as included in HR Services Catalogue

Customer and service management

  • Ensure the solution of open issues with customers (employees and managers);

  • Develops new services, creates, maintains and works according to HR Services catalogue;

  • Keeps the high service levels, tracks the performance according to Key Performance Indicators;

  • Maintains up to date process descriptions, introduces and implements process improvements by using process improvement tools (e.g. Six Sigma/Lean)

Asia HR Services team management

  • Integration of new hires

  • Essential coaching delivering to team members

  • Team development plan and execution

  • Functional budget review

Contact window

  • Actively partners with HR and Business for effective resolution of day to day matters.

  • Actively partners with site HRBP and COE functions to ensure alignment of process and business initiatives.

  • Actively partners with site HRBP and COE functions for better services.

  • Actively support corporate HR as needed

  • Actively partners with Global HR Services organization in regional/global projects;

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in human resources or other equivalent ones.

  • Above 3 Years of working experience in HR Administration or Shared Services related field with industrial/manufacturing exposure in multinational companies.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Asia labor legislations and HR Systems, SAP/Workday/PeopleSoft is preferred.

  • Experience in project management is preferred;

  • Knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma/Lean) is preferred

  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking ability.

  • Excellent computer skills in an MS office environment.

  • Highly motivated, customer focused, well organized and attention to detail.

  • Desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced organization.

  • Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions. Maintain focus and follow through on issues until resolved.

  • Willing to take challenges; strong desire for continuous improvement in working flow and procedures optimization.

  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information.

  • Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.
