Manage engineering team to achieve the in terms of speed, costs, quality, and employee development. Participate / organize meetings with internal team members or across functions. Define KPI and review performance of the team.
Focus on equipment OEE (Overall Equipment effectiveness) improvement through reducing mini-step and conducting effective preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance to prevent machine unscheduled shutdown.
Arrange equipment/fixtures/tooling PM as per schedule to reduce unscheduled down time and extend their service life span.
Manage spare parts with efficiency and low cost-control the part stock level, consignment, regular stock counting and replenishment in time to ensure the continuity of production activities.
Keep communication channel with global team and vendors for project transfer and new product launch in equipment portion.
Manage related document alignment with Quality Systems requirement.
Lead equipment engineers and technicians to drive for excellence and grow with company.
Coach/encourage equipment technicians to get excited about work and use reinforcing feedback methods to encourage good working habits.
Provide a complete and accurate daily work schedule equipment technician which requires no variance/deviation from production line.
Observe health, safety and environment company policy.
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent areas.
Above 5 Years of experience in equipment function, 2 or more years of management experience with direct reports and experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Able to read Schematic and mechanical drawing and use AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of PLC or VC++/VB or Visual studios or CM51 programming is preferred.
Familiar with systematic problem-solving methodology (6 Sigma GB/BB) is preferred.
Sound understanding of Quality Management Systems with the ability to audit equipment areas of system requirements. Basic knowledge of ESH and TPM. Strong safety awareness.
Experience in project definition and management skills.
Result-orientated. Able to manage internal and external resource to achieve goals and objectives. Time management skill.
Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi-task. Self directed and driven for success (goal oriented). Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
Good interpersonal / communication skills and able to interface at international/overseas levels. Negotiation skills.
Good coaching skills. Good people management skills.
Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.
