Sensata Technologies, Inc. Accounts Payable Supervisor in Changzhou, China
Expected to lead, coach and develop a team of AP coordinators ensuring proper invoice processing and payments, to drive change in AP teams towards operational excellence with continuous improvement mindset.
Supervise daily activities of AP staff
Prepare payment batches
Keep vendor statements and responses up to date
Supervise the full cycle of accounts payable activities, month-end accruals, and GL reconciliations
Interact with regional and corporate areas and vendors.
Support process improvement projects
Coordination of internal requests in respect of invoices and payments;
Coordinate with the respective business units to ensure timely resolution of any issues and discrepancies. Analyze the problems, undertake and make suggestions, take corrective and preventive actions and lead the execution on these;
Work closely with purchasing staff and management to resolve purchase order/receipt/invoice discrepancies;
Perform reconciliation and month end activities as per schedule;
Design performance and compliance reports and communicate the status to the management;
Audits and SOX compliance;
Lead and/or support developing processes/systems to measure, evaluate, and improve departmental and individual productivity;
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic, Business Administration or relevant experience in the field
Experience: of 2+ years in Accounts Payable area, 1+ years supervising teams
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
Proficient with MS Office applications, high proficiency is MS Excel is a must
Experience with an ERP systems
Strong analytical skills
Independent, well organized and proactive in taking initiatives
Self-motivated, focused on quality and high performance
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Travel time may be required
Experience in ERP transitions
