The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting all sales activities within an assigned region. This position facilitates overall regional growth through the coordination of activities with sales personnel, including; price management support, lead pre-qualification, quote follow-up, backlog reviews, customer relations initiatives, participation in business reviews, & ownership, and any other task directly related to supporting the field sales team and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.


General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling the company’s products, services and/or solutions

  • Informs customers of company promotions and upgrades

  • Qualifies leads, identifies decision makers, determines customer needs

  • Explains product/service alternatives

  • Recommends the most suitable products/services

  • Identifies features and benefits, overcomes customer objections, and closes sales

  • May respond to inquiries and resolve problems

  • Prepares required sales documentation

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree and 2-4 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Masters degree)

  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers


Within our Clean Energy Solutions Business Unit we are looking for a colleague to support our customer base which consist of large OEMs and system integrators within renewable energy generation, storage and distribution sectors and consult our products & technologies to provide sensing and safety solutions. Examples of applications and markets where we are focusing on are Energy Storage Systems, (light) Electrical Vehicles, Chargers, Inverters, Power Distribution Units & Battery Packs whether linked to renewable resources like Solar, Wind, Hydro or Hydrogen.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Price management tasks

  • Leads qualification and follow up

  • Quotations creation and closure

  • Customers backlog reviews

  • Customer relations initiatives

  • Participation in business review & ownership, and any other sales task directly related to supporting the field sales team

  • Participation on Marketing initiatives

  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

  • 5-10% Domestic Travel
