Responsibilities include:
Partner with the business in developing an understanding of the people and organizational strategy needs and assist in designing and executing solutions in the areas of talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational structure, business process improvement, performance management, global teaming, rewards and recognition strategies, communication and recruitment
Support the development and execution of annual processes such as Talent Management, Succession Development, Compensation Review Process, 360 Feedback process, and integration of new hires
Coach leaders on managing their business organizations effectively
Proactively initiate dialog with management, provide advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps
Assist global HR team in creating and launching new programs aligned with HR strategy
Ability to learn and run data reports utilizing systems such as HR Workday and analyze data as required
Conduct research, manage projects and create internal communications as needed
Job Requirements:
BA/BS in Human Resources, Business or related field required
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in HR is required
Demonstrated success in performing within highly matrixed organization
Experience in Manufacturing experience preferred
Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information
Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Details:
Possess current understanding of federal, CA state and local employment laws
Strong verbal and written communication skills
M&A integration experience preferred
Effectively interact with all levels in the organization and across cultures
Desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced organization
Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions
Maintain focus and follow through on issues until resolved
During peak times can require extensive hours
Excellence in critical thinking and decision making
Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of employee relations issues
10-15% domestic and international travel required
