The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the team of engineers in improving production processes, maintaining equipment, achieving volume targets and quality standards.
Provide leadership to a team of engineers to achieve their individual and team goals. Coach, develop and motivate individuals and teams;
Prioritizes the team's actions to address the most important issues;
Responsible for organization, implementation and maintenance of production process flow;
Improve continually existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings;
As part of the site leadership team, promote a positive work culture with a "lead by example" mindset;
Result-orientated. Able to manage internal and external resource to achieve goals and objectives;
Strong desire for continuous improvement in working flow and procedures optimization;
Organize meetings with other team members to facilitate growth;
Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations i.e. new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance;
Utilize Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma techniques and incorporate best practices;
Maximize activities with management team to implement cost effective systems of control;
Support organizational environmental, health and safety goals and lead effort in manufacturing.
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other equivalent ones;
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience and experience in managing a team of people;
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kizen and systematic problem solving methodology (6 Sigma GB/BB);
Ability to work in a team environment with good sense in communications, negotiating with others, judgment and decision making, attention to detail, customer sensitivity, planning and organizing, and innovation;
Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and engage with people quickly.
