We are a dynamic and growing company that partners with the industry’s leading OEMs to provide differentiating next generation operator controls.

Our products help to simplify operation, increase reliability, and improve productivity in a broad range of applications. Core products include vehicle electronic control systems, electronic joysticks, multi-function grips, and handlebar-mounted controls. We currently have a need for a self-motivated individual that enjoys a fast paced and challenging environment to join our engineering team as a Process Engineer.


  • Act as a subject matter expert and process engineering leader on global new product development project teams

  • Proactively identify risk mitigation opportunities and process improvements.

  • Define manufacturing strategies for zero-defects

  • Define specifications for production equipment and interact with the plant process and quality engineers and/or equipment suppliers to ensure equipment will meet specifications

  • Set up sample lines and process development equipment

  • Participate in advanced quality planning activities

  • Transfer knowledge to plant personnel

  • Support improvement projects to reduce cycle time, defects, and manufacturing cost

  • Evaluate Sensata’s and suppliers’ technical capabilities including tooling design, build experience, maintenance programs, process controls, automation, quality control systems, and materials knowledge

  • Establish, document, and communicate robust processes and DOE (design of experiments) results


  • Minimum BS in engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials)

  • 4-6 years of experience in new product development as a process engineer

  • Knowledge of electrical function testing and electromechanical device calibration

  • Engineering aptitude to participate in design reviews and assist during debug and qualification

  • Ability to identify and correct problems using structured problem solving

  • Experience in Agile, Minitab, and Creo a plus

  • Experience with FMEA and control plans

  • Leadership skills and the ability to work with little direction

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Strong planning and organization skills

  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members

  • Ability to travel 20%
