Sensata Technologies, Inc. Aftermarket Technical Support Representative in Bergkirchen, Germany

In this role, you will be responsible for answering product service call, emails and WhatsApp's from our customers regarding our TPMS products (Tyre Pressure Management Systems), manage returned goods/warranty issues, identify problems and recommend corrective action and provide technical assistance to level 2 support teams if customer issues cannot be resolved.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer product service calls from external customers via Telephone, Email, WhatsApp, and other channels

  • Identify problems and recommend corrective actions for both customers and manufacturing

  • Provide technical assistance to level 2 support team if customer issue cannot be resolved

  • Maintain records of all issues and fixes on customer service database

  • Maintain records of returned goods authorization and service

  • Handle Aftermarket Customer Returns as per company policy and processes

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Help to maintain customer relationships by troubleshooting product related issues and by escalating and tracking fixes

Requirements:

  • Business fluent/professional level of German and English language in written and spoken (required), additional languages is an advantage

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction is key to success in this role, dealing with very challenging customers

  • Highly motivated with a background in a product support role

  • Incumbent enjoys and has strong experience / proven track record interacting directly with customers in person, by phone and other channels, as well as experience with customer returns and warranties

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment with strong attention to details in a self-dependent way

  • Solid user knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and bespoke data systems

  • The ability to work effectively with other team members while continuing to improve our support processes and effectively transferring product knowledge

  • Ability to work during fixed working time from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm.

  • Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s TS16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, IIP, Sarbanes Oxley, Lean / 6s standards and any other standards that the company adheres to

  • Work as a member of a team helping to implement and carry out all company working practices and Health, Safety and Environmental procedures

  • Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the Department

In dieser Rolle sind Sie für die Auftragsabwicklung unserer Produke (Reifendrucksensoren) im Geschäftsbereich „Aftermarket“ verantwortlich und berichtet dabei an den Manager EMEA Customer Service & Production vor Ort. Sie sind die erste Kontaktperson für unsere Bestandskunden und dabei auch für die Stärkung unserer Kundenbeziehungen zuständig.

Ihr Verantwortungsbereich:

  • Beratung und Hilfestellung bei technischen Fragen unserer Kunden per Telefon oder Email zu unseren Sensoren

  • Erfassen und Bearbeitung von Bearbeitung von Kundenretouren, Gewährleistungsfällen und Kundenreklamationen

  • Analyse der technischen Probleme und Empfehlung von Korrekturmaßnahmen sowohl für unsere Kunden als auch für unsere Fertigung

  • Technischer 2nd Level Support wenn das Kundenproblem nicht gelöst werden kann

  • Mitarbeit und Unterstützung bei der Optimierung unserer Produkte

  • Erfassung der Kundenprobleme und der erfolgten Korrekturmassnahmen in unserer internen Kundendienstdatenbank
