Sensata Technologies, Inc. Aftermarket Technical Support Representative in Bergkirchen, Germany
Our Aftermarket team is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication and problem solving skills to be our Technical Support Representative. This individual will report directly into our Aftermarket Technical Support Manager and will be responsible for answering product service calls, identify problems and recommend corrective action and provide technical assistance to level 2 support teams if customer issues cannot be resolved.
Answer product service calls from external customers via Telephone, Email, WhatsApp, and other channels
Identify problems and recommend corrective actions for both customers and manufacturing
Provide technical assistance to level 2 support team if customer issue cannot be resolved
Maintain records of all issues and fixes on customer service database
Maintain records of returned goods authorization and service
Handle Aftermarket Customer Returns as per company policy and processes
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Help to maintain customer relationships by troubleshooting product related issues and by escalating and tracking fixes
Business fluent/professional level of German and English language in written and spoken (required), additional languages is an advantage
Strong focus on customer satisfaction is key to success in this role, dealing with very challenging customers
Highly motivated with a background in a product support role
Incumbent enjoys and has strong experience / proven track record interacting directly with customers in person, by phone and other channels, as well as experience with customer returns and warranties
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment with strong attention to details in a self-dependent way
Solid user knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and bespoke data systems
The ability to work effectively with other team members while continuing to improve our support processes and effectively transferring product knowledge
Ability to work during fixed working time from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Contribute to the overall team/departmental strategy
Keep abreast of the latest innovations and developments
Ensure compliance at all times with company and statutory requirements
Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team and work effectively as a team member to ensure continuous improvement
Meet performance measures and KPI’s set for you and your team
Communicate in a timely and effective manner with members of your team and other parts of the business
Participate in training opportunities
Demonstrate Schrader’s values in behaviors and actions
Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s TS16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, IIP, Sarbanes Oxley, Lean / 6s standards and any other standards that the company adheres to
Work as a member of a team helping to implement and carry out all company working practices and Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the Department
