Sensata INSIGHTS is hiring a Senior Manager, Strategy & Growth to join our rapidly growing organization. The INSIGHTS group is focused on delivering cutting-edge IoT solutions across fleet, supply chain, warehousing, and transportation markets leveraging our full-stack portfolio. Our markets are growing rapidly and as more data is being generated, companies across the ecosystem are challenged to “connect the dots” and convert data into meaningful insights. Sensata INSIGHTS helps customers maximize the value of their data with end-to-end solutions that span sensors, video telematics, asset management devices and software platforms for applying powerful analytics and machine learning.
The Senior Manager will help to shape the strategic direction of the INSIGHTS business through new strategic projects, market extensions, partnerships, and acquisitions. Responsibilities will include developing new growth strategies, market and competitive analysis, building business cases, and special projects to optimize existing business programs. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Strategy & Growth for INSIGHTS, the Senior Manager will be a highly visible position and work collaboratively with all functions across the business to establish the strategic vision and execute against it to deliver profitable growth for INSIGHTS.

Key responsibilities include:
Own and manage activities across the following areas:
Identify and help execute new strategic projects to drive revenue growth, add new technologies, or enhance profitability in an analytical and rigorous manner.
Research and assess key market trends and their impact on the business.
Monitor key competitors and develop strategies to maintain market leadership.
Assist in driving the annual strategic planning process for the business, as well as scenario planning.
Develop relationships with companies in the IoT ecosystem and help build pipeline of strategic partnership and acquisition opportunities.
Perform due diligence on partnership and acquisition targets, and develop business cases to underpin each project.
Synthesize and present findings that will enable the business to make critical go/no-go decisions on key projects.
Build financial models and presentations to support strategy recommendations.
Interact with senior leadership across the business as well as the extended Sensata executive leadership team.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience, including 2+ years in management / strategy consulting, investment banking, or in an analytical or strategic role within a technology-oriented business.
Technology Experience: relevant technology experience with IoT solutions and/or SaaS-based revenue models strongly preferred, either through industry experience or consulting projects.
Structured and Logical Thinking: ability to dissect problems using a logical approach and to make strong, well supported recommendations.
Analytical Rigor: proven capability to conduct defect-free quantitative analysis and develop new project business cases.
Powerful Communicator: ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and through written materials.
Educational Credentials: Masters in Business Administration from a top-tier educational institution. Engineering undergrad a plus.
The candidate selected for this position will be an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel. This professional must demonstrate strong leadership skills, while also being a team player.

Base Salary Range:
$127,600.00 - $175,450.00
