Sensata Technologies, Inc. Senior Human Resources Manager (E-mobility) in Attleboro, Massachusetts
Sensata is looking for a HR Leader to support the Automotive group, reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources for the business unit. This Senior Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in the execution of the HR Strategy while partnering with the Business leaders to support strategic business objectives, advise and coach leaders in all elements of talent management, including identifying current and future people implications. This Senior Human Resources Manager works collaboratively with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Shared Services to develop and deliver integrated HR solutions, including workforce planning, performance management, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development. This position is based at the Corporate headquarters, located in Attleboro, MA.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to be patient and comfortable in the midst of a highly complex, matrixed work environment, and will not get easily frustrated by ambiguity. S/he will display a highly collaborative style; and have demonstrated skill and comfort in building relationships with senior level and executive management, peers and employees at all levels. S/he must demonstrate personal characteristics including high energy, commitment to excellence, strong leadership and executive presence, and a continued focus on developing future leaders. They will have a track record of integrity and a dedicated work ethic. S/he will be bold yet approachable; resilient and adaptable with superior communication skills.

General Responsibilities
Provides advice on issues, including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, and general policy and procedures
Provides advice to departmental managers to assess employment needs, and participate in recruiting efforts to identify, interview, hire and train qualified candidates
Develops department goals, objectives and systems
Identify and be involved in the creation and implementation of updated processes, and make any recommendations to the company based on findings
Keeps abreast with employment, state, federal and local regulations and communicates impact to HR management
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree and 7-10 years of experience
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

The position will require up to 25% travel (predominantly international) post COVID
Communications
- Foster deep and current knowledge of HR department functions and capabilities through ongoing discussion and collaboration with HR colleagues.
Point of contact and intermediary for employees and management in assigned business units globally
Participate in the creation of clear, concise, and standardized mechanisms for reporting data findings to the business, including dashboards and scorecards
Actively reach out to internationally based business leaders and work with them to collaboratively identify opportunities for HR program and practice improvement
Coach global business leaders and managers on HR and people management practice
Business Strategy
Maintain current understanding of the organization’s financial indicators and revenue-generation model
Scan the broader business environment on an ongoing basis for trends and issues that may affect talent management in the organization
Focus on Talent development and Succession planning
Implement HR processes and align HR support for high growth environment
Lead the development of HR measures and metrics that track progress towards goal achievement and yield meaningful data
Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights, and convert these insights into recommendations the business can use to make decisions
Provide business leaders and managers with an HR perspective on business decisions by leveraging strong knowledge of all HR functions
Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to HR issues, and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures
Participate in the development of the annual HR strategic plan
Planning and Execution
Apply rigorous project management techniques to planning and implementing cross-functional HR initiatives that support current and future business strategies
Coordinate with HR department function experts and others to deliver on business requests and solve business problems
Implement HR-related programs within business unit
Position Requirements
Formal Education and Certification
- Bachelor degree in related field; Master degree will be preferred
Knowledge and Experience
7+ years of progressive HR experience
Demonstrated HR experience in an international business environment
Thorough knowledge of human resource management practices and employment related legislation
Proven track record of working with international teams and in a multicultural environment
Experience leading remote workforce will be a significant advantage
