The Revenue Operations Commercial Analyst is responsible for supporting field sales & marketing. This employee implements the sales & marketing strategies and compiles / creates reports on metrics for management review and identify opportunities for improvement. They share accountability for assigned territory and act as an internal point of contact for miscellaneous departments.


General Responsibilities

  • Leads statistical analysis on sales data and information to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives

  • Develops territorial sales quotas in accordance with the profit plan

  • Maintains on-line sales and marketing system, verifying the accuracy of the data and acting as liaison with internal departments for identifying and resolving problems

  • Instructs sales, marketing managers, field area managers, and support staff in accessing sales and marketing information

  • Prepares and controls commission incentive budgets for a particular district or region

  • Responsible for administering the field sales forecasting system, which provides management with current product sales potential

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • FOCUS-revenue growth and margin expansion

  • In partnership with business units and regional teams, identify and execute price setting, price getting and pricing hygiene actions to drive profitable growth and improve pricing excellence.

  • Drive the execution of the pricing transformation roadmap

  • Establish pricing governance policies and discipline across the businesses

  • Identify and implement innovative/disruptive pricing models to capture value

  • Stand-up and execute a best-in-class pricing model in a matrix organization-implementing a collaboration model with the businesses and in the regions

  • Work with the marketing teams in the business to assess the competitive and economic landscape to develop pricing strategies

  • Support the global pricing workstream on Marketing Council—helping to integrate all key stakeholders-in the matrix organization to deliver profitable growth and margin expansion

  • Strong Tableau experience (high intermediate - advanced level; must have creation experience, data combination experience, and demonstrated visualization & communication as well as running routines)

  • Business Intelligence (BI) data extraction & use

  • Strong communication skills (written & spoken)

  • Business acumen

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
