Sensata Technologies, Inc. Procurement Specialist in Attleboro, Massachusetts

Sensata Technologies is seeking a motivated, ambitious Procurement Specialist for the Indirect Spend category to join our team in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and will have the opportunity to execute an evolving portfolio of strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost reduction to enable achievement of business unit, functional, and organizational objectives and goals.

​​ Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sourcing events in collaboration with the Indirect Category Leaders

  • Analyze Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RFQ) results within the tool

  • Serve as an advisor on eSourcing technology, supplier engagements, and event management while fostering continuous learning within the team

  • Build a pipeline of sourcing events in conjunction with the Indirect Category Leaders

  • Promotes best practices in procurement

  • Create reporting and conduct quarterly business reviews with Indirect Spend Category team members to gain alignment on business performance

  • Contribute to the overall team/departmental strategy.

  • Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team and work effectively as a team member to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Meet performance measures and KPI’s set for you and your team.

  • Keep abreast of the latest innovations and developments.

  • Ensure compliance at all times with company and statutory requirements.

  • Participate in training opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain

  • Understanding and experience of RFI/RFP/RFQ processes

  • Strong desire to learn and grow with the team, positive attitude and be flexible/creative in job execution

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate in global network

  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft applications including Intermediate Excel and Power Point Presentations

Additional Details:

  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestic and internationally

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the use of computer

  • Ability to present findings and opportunities in a professional manor required
