Sensata Technologies, Inc. Integration Technician, Smart & Connected in Attleboro, Massachusetts

The office of the CTO at Sensata technologies has created a megatrend-focused organization to capitalize on growth opportunities presented by Electrification, Autonomy, Connected and Sharing. A key Incubation project we are focusing on is the Smart and Connected (S&C) business.

While demand for a vehicle area network (enabled by the wireless Hub) and a portfolio of wireless sensors is increasing across the commercial truck and trailer market, our day-to-day activity in the start-up venture is becoming increasingly more complex. Just as our customer and partner engagements are growing, our development scope and product portfolio is also broadening so we need experienced technicians added to our team to develop and implement a scalable manufacturing model.

The candidate for this role will work with external customers and internal product development teams as a technical expert in the installation of Sensata systems on customer commercial vehicle fleets.

They will responsible for the training of customer and third-party technicians on the method of operation, proper installation, and best practices for implementing S&C systems onto vehicles in the field.

This technician will perform training to external customers and third-party installers at a Sensata site or by travelling to a customer location within North America. As a trusted resource, their experience will be critical in sharing knowledge, qualifying installers, and providing useful feedback to maximize Sensata’ s capability to serve our market. Further to that end, this technician will act as a trusted resource to internal S&C teams developing new products to bring to market.

Their experience in the field and working with outside technicians makes the input they share critical to effective product documentation, successful implementation of pilot installs, and continued improvement to the products and installation techniques.
