Sensata Technologies, Inc. Global Aftermarket Product Manager in Attleboro, Massachusetts

Sensata Technologies is looking for a Global Aftermarket (AFM) Product Manager. Partner with Commercial teams (Marketing, Pricing, Sales) on developing customer programs that drive NR growth and are consistent / coordinated across regions and customers. Also, partner with AFM Operations team to ensure operational plan enables customer growth and satisfaction.


Role Specific:

  • Create and Maintain the Aftermarket product portfolio and ensuring the Aftermarket database is populated and maintained up to date.

  • Define and drive roadmap for product categories including but not limited to new product “derivatives” that deliver NR growth for customers (sku consolidation, performance enhancements, differentiated features).

  • Identify compatible Sensata parts or alternate solutions that brings category coverage to > 90%.

  • Support of customers, sales teams with respect to vehicle and product applications information as requested.

  • Set up and updating of Aftermarket BOM’s for changes and new products.

  • Liaise with respective Sensata teams (Legal, Mktg, Engineering, Program Management) to launch new products and confirm compliance with OE contractual obligations including but not limited to technical, commercial requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree - Technical Field or Business related.

  • Proven track record of dealing with customers in person and over the phone.

  • The ability to work effectively with other team members while continuing to improve support processes and effective transfer of product knowledge.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competently operate Microsoft office programs and bespoke databases.

  • Travel to make sites, customers and remote offices, etc will be required.

  • Experience with technical data and ability to understand technical / application concepts.

  • Sensata OE experience a +.

  • Technical Marketing, Product and program management, and/or commercial finance a +.

  • Oracle experience +.


  • Demonstrate Sensata’s values in behaviors and actions.

  • Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s IATF16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, IIP, Sarbanes Oxley, Lean / 6s standards and any other standards that the company adheres to.

  • Work as a member of a team helping to implement and carry out all company working practices and Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

  • Comply with all Sarbox controls throughout the organisation and understand and meet the key controls that are directly related to your day to day functions.

  • Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the Department.
