Job Information

Sensata Technologies, Inc. Field Applications Engineer (Smart & Connected) in Attleboro, Massachusetts

The office of the CTO at Sensata technologies has created a megatrend-focused organization to capitalize on growth opportunities presented by Electrification, Autonomy, Connected and Sharing. A key Incubation project we are focusing on is Smart and Connected. While demand for a vehicle area network (enabled by the wireless Hub) and a portfolio of wireless sensors is increasing across the commercial truck and trailer market, our day-to-day activity in the start-up venture is becoming increasingly more complex. Just as our customer and partner engagements are growing, our development scope and product portfolio is also broadening, so we are adding new staff and implementing a scalable operating model.

The Smart & Connected team at Sensata Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE). This role will support Marketing and Sales activities by acting as the bridge between the customer and the broader Sensata engineering teams. Their expertise and technical support to the customer will allow them to drive design/re-design, development, testing, and demonstrations of the Sensata Smart & Connected hardware and software suite. Our goal is to secure new business opportunities or enhanced share through engineering activities and market awareness with a tight link to customer engineering teams and a direct link to R&D Engineering.

At present, this role is based out of our headquarters, in Attleboro, MA, but there is potential to relocate regionally in the future. Any potential regional relocation will be based upon customer demand and sites.
