Sensata Technologies, Inc. Disc Department Production Operator in Attleboro, Massachusetts

Disc Department Operators are responsible for all aspects of the production process, including: material handling, equipment operation and set-up, process monitoring, quality control, warehousing, and various support activities. The operator position duties and responsibilities can change regularly based on the manufacturing plant’s needs.

  • Provide minimal maintenance to heavy equipment as directed.

  • Operation and set up of process equipment and others as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Ability to make minor adjustments as needed to equipment following written process documentation and training.

  • Ability to perform basic math in order make proper adjustments needed to gain temperature requirements per job performed.

  • Assist in the sampling of material.

  • Assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways and locker rooms.

  • Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team.

  • Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed.

  • Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Ability to walk and stand for most of your shift.

  • Good reading and comprehension skills.

  • Good eyesight and ability to work with small pieces is a plus.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Computer Familiarity.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Experience and/or background in equipment operations, mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.

  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background, drug screen.

  • Must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends, call-outs and overtime.

  • Candidate must have a strong desire to be a part of a high growth company and be a team player but also a self-starter in a fast-paced, results-orientated culture
