Sensata Technologies, Inc. Credit Supervisor in Attleboro, Massachusetts
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is motivated to learn the business and support segment managers in achieving and exceeding growth objectives.
The candidate should be personable and able to work with various functional directors and managers. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Perform credit reviews on new and existing customers and assign appropriate credit limits based on the business needs and the customer’s financial condition
Prepare and present financial reviews on those customer’s that are considered high risk based on their financial condition
Highlight risk and reserve levels
Interact with major customers and distributors on credit and collection matters
Interact with commercial sales on credit terms and risk assessment
Proactively work with sales teams to ensure appropriate credit limits are assigned based on the growth of the business
Manage credit holds and work closely with Shared Service Collection teams to resolve issues preventing orders from being released
Work with Shared Service to continually strive for A/R aging improvement and DSO reduction
Serve as the main contact for major bankruptcies and litigation
Hold regular meetings with the collections team to discuss payment delays making adjustments to credit limits as needed
Review customer sales contracts and ensure the terms of the contract are being met
Finalize credit files ensuring all pertinent information is included
Execute SOX compliance related to accounting and reporting for role related processes
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Administration
5+ years of experience in Credit Management
Financial statement analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High skill level with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Fluent in English
Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
