Sensata Technologies, Inc. Continuous Improvement Coordinator in Attleboro, Massachusetts

A Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible to support the AERO team to develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects and complete training as needed for Operators

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement and maintain 5S program for all AERO product lines.

  • Train operators on changes or new areas to successfully maintain this 5S program.

  • Complete a monthly report out to each Supervisor for overall 5S participation and actions completed.

  • Assess and update Operator training on lean practices and new hires guidance.

  • Support and develop Continuous Improvement driven projects within AERO team and implement best practices across product lines

  • Review and update process specifications on a regular basis. Maintain tool to show progress and completion for all requested updates.

  • Support virtual Lean site audits as required.

  • Support line as required for improvements, training and other duties

  • Complete Lean training each year through Workday, Lean experts or off-site opportunities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Lean Training a plus

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred

  • Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well as a team.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, comprehend verbal instructions and effectively communicate verbally.

  • Ability to create spreadsheets in excel and powerpoint slides as required

  • Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed.

  • Consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be available to work assigned shifts and required overtime.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must: (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident (i.e., "green card holder") of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, provided that you have applied for naturalization within six months of the date you first became eligible, and if not yet accepted, you are actively pursuing naturalization after two years from the date of your application.
