The Benefits Analyst, reporting to the Senior Benefits Consultant, is responsible for maintaining a range of benefit programmes in designated countries or a specific group of benefits for the region. Activities can include benchmarking, researching, renewal and communication of benefit programmes within the Company Total Reward structure. This role also involves supplier management and influencing administration processes to promote positive employee experience. Overall operation of plans in accordance with policies, procedures and any legal regulations.

General Responsibilities
Collaborates with internal personnel on employee benefit related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and compare with legislated requirement and programs
Organizes the design and implementation of programs such as accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans, income continuance holidays, and vacation time
Key Participant in local and global surveys on current benefit trends, pricing and policies
Collaborates on communicating the benefits program and policies effective to the company. Ensures proper communication regarding any change or updates
Key Participant in modeling cost analyses of various program or policy updates
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for timely benchmarking of benefit programmes and policies across the region and assisting in the development and capture of analytics to inform future directions.
Support the execution of the regional Renewal Calendar, including RFQs, renewals, that may require the comparative analysis of survey market data.
Support the regional review and update of annual benefit rates for each country in Europe, in support of financial annual planning.
Perform regular checks on compliance regulations and provide change recommendations or inclusion in regional planning activities.
Support M&A integration efforts and initiatives which requires the comparative analysis of benefit programs and financial impact which may require the planning, developing, and redesigning of company benefits programs.
Partner with colleagues to build a holistic view where necessary in support of benefit developments e.g. proposal for changes, redesign, renewals, include up-keep of Total Reward tools.
Participate in review of Policies and Procedures that can improve employee experiences.
Inform employees about benefits programs e.g. features, accessibility, renewal outcomes, that increase engagement including drafting new , alternative communication methods. Keep existing tools current e.g. leaflets, myTotalRewards platform.
Partner with and manage internal business stakeholders (e.g. Benefit Services, Payroll) and external vendors (including benefit broker) relationships, delivering to SLA’s and encouraging a positive employee experience and level of service our employees expect.
Support the design, delivery of benefits and initiatives that can highlight the Company philosophy as it relates to Diversity and Inclusion, ESG and Wellbeing.
Provide support to the Total Rewards team on global projects when needed.
Specific Experience / Qualifications
2+ years of experience with benefit programmes in Europe
Experience performing benefit analysis and ability to translate into plans and proposals
Appreciation of importance of regulatory/legislative requirements.
Ability to be able to influence internal and external stakeholders
Be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail skills.
