Sensata Technologies, Inc. Supplier Quality Engineer in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Ensure the quality of the suppliers of materials, assemblies and products purchased by Sensata Technologies and used for their integration into the final product according to the established quality systems, guaranteeing compliance with all requirements, both customer and regulatory or commercial, relating to suppliers of direct material and the applicable quality system.

1.- Validate the raw material that the supplier sends, by comparing the specifications of the client with those of the supplier, ensuring that there is no discrepancy in the latter.

1.1.- Requesting product documentation from the supplier.

1.2.- Reviewing the specifications and the required documentation.

1.3.- Coordinating the application of tests and comparative analysis.

1.4.- Granting approval of the material if the results are positive.

1.5.- Establishing corrective actions in the event that the results do not match the client's specifications.

1.6.- Monitoring the results of the corrective actions implemented by the supplier.

1.7.- Releasing the product when it is under control.

2.- To be the interface between the supplier and the manufacturing and design areas, for the development of changes and / or improvements in the product in order to achieve a product at a lower cost and with the quality established by the customer.

2.1.- Considering the manufacturing requirements, ask the supplier for change or improvement in the product he works.

2.2.- Analyzing the information required by manufacturing in order to know the exchange rate that is required.

2.3.- The product improvement workshop is developed according to the required exchange rate.

2.4.- Implementing the improvement workshop with the supplier.

2.5.- Supporting the supplier in the implementation of the change or improvement.

2.6.- Monitoring the performance of the change made.

2.7.- Releasing the product or the change made.

3.- Develop new suppliers, through supporting these in the elaboration of the product with techniques, strategies and processes, in order to obtain a product that meets the client's specifications.

3.1.- Performing an initial analysis of the supplier.

3.2.- In case of being a new supplier an audit is carried out and the corrective actions defined are monitored

3.3.-. Determining their strengths and for improvement, establishing a development program.

3.4.- Carrying out the improvement workshop with the supplier and monitoring the implementation of the defined improvements.

3.5.- In the case of a supplier with whom you are working, the behavior of your product is monitored every quarter with the modifications developed.

4.- Validate the implementation of changes in products requested from the supplier, to ensure their correct development and comply with customer requirements.

4.1.- Requesting the product documentation from the supplier.

4.2.- Reviewing the specifications and the required documentation.

4.3.- Coordinating the application of tests and comparative analysis.

4.4.- Granting approval of the material if the results are positive.

4.5.- Establishing corrective actions in the event that the results do not match the client's specifications.

4.6.- Monitoring the results of the corrective actions implemented by the supplier.

4.7.- Releasing the product when it is under control.

5.- Manage the Quality Assurance process of the supplier raw material, through the review, analysis, correction and monitoring of the supplier's activities, in order to guarantee a product according to specifications.

5.1.- Analyzing the products sent by the supplier, ensuring that they comply with the specifications specified.

5.2.- Preparing a report in case of non-compliance with the problem found and the Quality area is turned.

5.3.- Coordinating the containment of the problem.

5.4.- Working with the provider on the root cause of the problem and its elimination.

5.5.- Validating the corrective actions implemented by the supplier.

5.6.- Monitoring the behavior of the material making sure that the problem is not repeated.

5.7.- Requesting the supplier for the financial reimbursement caused by the problem and / or the replacement of the defective material.
