As a key member of the HR team, the HRBP will support our Global Operations team and assist in the development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives and programs in support of business plans and overall corporate objectives such as Talent Management; Performance Management; Workforce Planning; Talent Sourcing, New Employee Orientation and the annual Compensation Review Process.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of annual processes such as Talent Management, Succession Development, Compensation Review Process, 360 Feedback process, and integration of new hires

  • Partner with the business in developing an understanding of the people and organizational strategy needs and assist in designing and executing solutions in the areas of talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational structure, business process improvement, performance management, global teaming, rewards and recognition strategies, communication and staffing

  • Facilitate the effective resolution of day to day HR matters.

  • Coach business leaders on managing their business organizations effectively.

  • Proactively initiate dialog with management, provide advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps

  • Collaborate with Operational Leaders in the development of a more empowered and accountable culture with shared priorities between the Operations team and other site departments

  • Assist in creating and launching new programs aligned with our HR strategy

  • Run reports, analyze data and create metrics dashboards in support of day to day operations and process improvement

  • Conduct research, manage projects and create internal communications as needed

  • Interact with all levels in the organization, including senior leaders and across cultures and time zones; provide counsel on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organization Development or Business required

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR is required

  • HR Certification preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred

  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information

  • Experience in a multinational company preferred

  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits and California and federal employment law

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and attend to daily HR matters while maintaining focus and follow through on issues until resolved and delivering results as committed

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness at all levels to the organization and across culturesDemonstrated knowledge and expertise with Excel and PowerPoint10-15% domestic and international travel may be requiredThis position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR.
