Sensata Technologies, Inc. Manufacturing Engineer Intern in St Paul, Minnesota
Sensata Technologies in White Bear Lake, MN is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern who will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and leading special projects in a manufacturing environment.
Identify analyze and implement new or existing technology to optimize business processes
Responsible for enhancing/developing processes, layout and associated tools
Communicate with management and other personnel to develop production and design standards
Formulate sampling procedures and designs and develop form and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
Leads improvement initiatives to gain efficiency in the manufacturability of current processes.
Requires current enrollment in an accredited college or university and successful completion of 1 or more academic years.
Requires successful progress toward a degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering; or a strongly related program
Requires a minimum current and cumulative GPA of 3.0
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Ability to train and coach others
Ability to analyze and present data using sound statistics
Training and mentoring experience a plus
