Sensata Technologies, Inc. FEA Design Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria
Main purpose of the job: As a FEA engineer you receive requests for non-linear simulation and base on the outcome design decisions will be taken. Pert of the responsibility of a FEA engineer is also to study the products and the manufacturing process as well optimizing them. Every commuter based simulation needs to be validated before the calculation be taken into account which requires additional physical experiments for validating the simulation model. The FEA validation is a part of the FEA engineer work.
Primary responsibilities include:
Performing non-linear FEA;
Understanding the physical events behind the mathematical formulas;
Explain results calculated by the FEA software;
Performing physical experiments;
Validating FEA models;
Validating material properties.
Additional Job Description
Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering/ physics;
Strong Mechanical/ Physics background;
Minimum 3 years experience with CAD software Solid Works is an advantage;
Experience with FEA software Ansys is an advantage;
Experience with MS office;
English skills minimum B2 level;
Good organizational and communication skills;
Good Team Player.
