Support overall delivery process of components, needed for ST production, build supplier relationship, maintain supplier-related cost data in the system, reduce direct materials costs year over year

  • To support timely supply of components as first phase of escalation team goal

  • To send mid- and long-term forecasts or materials to the corresponding suppliers, ensure supplier capacity, material and organizational arrangements are confirmed

  • To maintain ECM capacity buckets file and regularly update with new suppliers and components

  • To verify supplier capacity through ECM process, analyze spikes in demand vs supplier confirmed capacity, and involve various departments in judgment and decision for quick actions to guarantee continuation of supplies

  • To support Site overall efforts to analyze and manage RAW/WIP inventories to have minimum expenses and minimum stock

  • To maintain MACO pricing data for certain material commodities and verify correctness of information

  • To establish and further develop supplier relationships for selected commodities

  • To support assessment of the suppliers’ delivery performance according to the approved plan and methodology

  • To control and co-approve new supplier/item setups and ensure correct data is set by BOM team with first upload. To control that NPD and CM PPM feed is correctly set by BOM-team with first upload

  • To review payment terms with ST suppliers and engage negotiation initiatives for continuous improvement

  • To control and liaise with Logistics Department the general organization of the transportation under EXW, evaluate different options and savings, vs increased stock model

  • Together with Logistics Department, to support and implement VMI arrangements with selected suppliers, to ensure quicker and better availability of materials

  • To develop CR and PPV strategies for cost savings year over year

  • To participate in COE and VAVE events and sessions, and drive quicker implementation of cost-reduction and quality improvement initiatives

  • To support CPT, NPD and CM PPMs in supplier selection as well as supplier localization, according to Commodity strategy

  • To fulfill the obligations according to the Company quality and environment policy, meeting the long and short term targets of the company

  • To know and observe strictly the Code of Conduct and Regulations for health and safety at work

  • To develop, improve and implement Purchasing procedures, as needed
