POSITION SUMMARY

Execute new product development project by working with related site and global teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage new product project from manufacturing view. Ensure all processes of product development project run properly within the scheduled time line. Accountable to the management review/APQP process and ensure projects fall within scope of product plan guidelines.

  • Eliminate barriers to progress within/outside team.

  • Head the decision making process to set pace, encourage input, deal with conflict ambiguity.

  • Work with cross functions to ensure right processes are in place to meet customer needs fully and quickly. Remove barriers to integration across functional perspectives.

  • Develop meaningful measures and report progress against them.

  • Support the design of new fixtures and the optimization devices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • B. S. degree or above, majoring in engineering or other equivalent ones.

  • At least 3 Years of experience in mechanical/electrical design, manufacturing/product engineering or equivalent ones.

  • Good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and be familiar with systematic problem solving methodology (6 Sigma GB/BB).

  • Good knowledge of Automotive PPAP / APQP / MSA requirements and Quality systems/tools is a plus.

  • Experience in New Product Development processes and manufacturing process.

  • Good interpersonal / communication skills and able to interface at international/overseas levels.

  • Familiar with the machining, stamping, plating, AutoCAD.

  • Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.

  • Skills preferable not mandatory: Tooling; Manufacturing Feasibility.
