Sensata Technologies, Inc. Engineering Technician in Changzhou, China

Position responsibilities:

  • Assembly, testing and calibration of pressure sensors.

  • Close collaboration with the designers, manufacturing engineers and project engineers on various technical issues.

  • Creation of original testing procedure, used by production testers, utilizing MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL and MS-PowerPoint.

  • Working closely with the production personnel in training and the transfer of knowledge. Creating, reading and interpreting the electro-mechanical drawings.

  • Operating the computer systems, operating various tests equipment of the temperature chambers.

  • Assembly and testing of pressure sensor. Basic data analysis.

  • Do or support design engineer to de-bug various assembly and test fixtures.

Position requirements:

  • Qualified candidate must have a minimum of Associate degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline. A minimum of AS agree in electrical engineering is preferred.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrical or electronics environment is required. A hands-on knowledge of calibrating sensors (pressure, position, temperature) in a R&D environment is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with various electronics test equipment such as phase sensitive voltmeters, digital oscilloscopes, hi-pot testers and temperature chambers is required. A good working knowledge of MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL and MS-POWERPOINT.

  • A good capability to read and understand technical drawings for mechanical and electrical designs.

  • Good written and reading communication in English.
