Sensata Technologies, Inc. Product Analyst in Attleboro, Massachusetts

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Analyst who will be an integral member our rapidly growing Industrial Solutions business unit. The Product Analyst supports the Product Line Management team to drive the strategic and tactical activities to optimize our products during their lifecycle. The position offers a great opportunity to work in a global, fast-paced, growth oriented, industrial technology environment.


Detailed Description

  • Partners with Product Managers and Marcomm to develop plans for new product introduction (e.g. sales supporting materials, training, communication, etc.)

  • Leads the research and analytics that support the product lifecycle management (e.g. market trends, pricing, customer needs, competitive landscape, standard product portfolio, gross margin analysis, etc.)

  • Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking to develop the product’s unique value proposition and works with our pricing analysts to quantify it.

  • Provides materials to support the go to market strategy (e.g. direct, distribution, etc.)

  • Gathers product specification and product attribute information for the development of marketing collateral.

  • Coordinates and publishes the New Product Introduction schedule for the specified product lines

  • Supports the Product Line Management in developing the business case for new product launches

  • Establishes and manages the Key Performance Indicators to drive our decision making process that optimizes our products during their lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, or technical discipline is required.

  • 3 to 5+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Leading teams with physical/tangible industrial products strongly preferred

  • Relevant product or industry experience desired

  • Strong analytics and business modeling. Excel & PowerPoint skills are a must

Additional Details

Occasional domestic & international travel is required (10%), as well as availability for early morning or late evening conference calls with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in other regions
