The Investor Relations Manager is a highly visible role in the organization, presenting the right candidate with an opportunity to directly support the company’s executive leadership in shaping the direction and success of the organization. The right candidate will need to able to think strategically and help to develop processes, documents, and criteria to help support the company’s investor relations efforts.

Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations this position will be primarily focused on helping to manage, and execute Sensata’s investor relations activities and outreach to the capital markets.

  • Assess and develop messages to the capital markets, talking points, assisting with SEC filings and distribute communication in accordance with regulations

  • Develop target lists of potential investors

  • Attend investor conferences and provide investor feedback to management

  • Maintain a deep understanding of and monitor analyst valuation models; identify issues that require management attention

  • Maintain corporate development and investor relations communication materials, presentations, database, and resources

  • Manage the investor relations website, including events and conference participation and calendar

Earnings Preparation and Production :

  • Participate in researching, messaging and producing quarterly earnings calls;

  • Provide competitive financial analyses regarding comparable company results;

  • Assist in creating, measuring and delivering communication objectives;

  • Produce background financial material for management and update investor presentations;

Investor Marketing :

  • Partner with the VP in developing and refining Sensata’s positioning to the financial markets;

  • Coordinate ongoing marketing schedule, including investor conferences and roadshows;

  • Work with VP to target investors and sell side analysts with customized calling plans;

  • Maintain consensus estimates;

Annual Report, Proxy and Shareholder Meeting :

  • Collaborate with Legal, HR and other groups to produce and distribute Annual Report and Proxy to shareholders;

  • Work with VP to coordinate the annual shareholder meeting;

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with senior management to produce press releases and presentations in support of strategic objectives;

  • Support senior management in a variety of research and financial modeling projects including benchmarking and competitive analyses;

  • Maintain Sensata’s Investor Relations website;

  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors,


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, MBA preferred

  • 5-10 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking or corporate development, preferably with previous experience in investor relations

  • A self-motivated, adaptive, and innovative professional with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically, build consensus, align and drive cross-functional groups, and optimize business relationships with all parties.

  • Advanced analytical skills with background in data management, business intelligence, and commercial operations

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, computer, analytical, and technical communication organizational, and presentation skills, including advanced proficiency with IR data and MS Office

  • Proven ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, work independently or within a team, and address complex issues

  • Demonstrated track record of completing and integrating acquisitions

  • Proven understanding of the capital markets

  • Experience with SEC regulatory requirements and disclosures

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in areas of responsibility

  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
